Mechanical Engineering Instructor

Mitchell Community College is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineering Adjunct Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Mechanical Engineering courses and contributing to the development of our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content for Mechanical Engineering courses
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in Mechanical Engineering
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience teaching Mechanical Engineering courses at the community college level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
This is a part-time position with classes meeting during the day and/or evening at various locations. The successful candidate will be required to teach in a standard classroom environment and may be required to move up to 25 pounds.
