Job Summary:

As a Network Analyst at Johns Hopkins HealthCare, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. This position requires a strong understanding of network planning, engineering, and development, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage small projects and program components, following established guidelines and objectives to deliver service to customers.
Create basic network infrastructure design or assist with moderate network designs.
Participate in the development of project planning documents, using established departmental guidelines to deliver successful projects.
Provide assistance through product research and/or working on a component of the overall design in network planning, network architecture, and engineering, with a focus on enhancing network and backbone infrastructure.
Produce written reports, using standard tools to document analysis of a network architecture or system.
May give presentations on ideas, designs, plans, and/or solutions, using standard presentation tools to communicate to a variety of audiences.

Requirements:

Two years of college coursework or trade school required, with additional experience substituting for education.
One year of related experience.
Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills.
Ability to work on multiple priorities effectively and prioritize conflicting demands.
Demonstrated track record of executing assigned project tasks within established schedules.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively in the service of users and colleagues in a positive manner.
Strong understanding of data communication principles, OSI Model, network troubleshooting techniques, network management concepts, and network management platforms and associated analysis tools.
