Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot production problems, and design manufacturing plant floor layouts. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for designing solutions to solve manufacturing issues and developing process improvements in partnership with our operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Troubleshoot production problems and implement corrective actions
  • Design manufacturing plant floor layouts to properly locate and coordinate equipment and material
  • Develop and implement process improvements in partnership with operations
  • Participate in GEMBA walks to identify areas for improvement
  • Design conceptual layouts for new products and processes
  • Enhance existing products through the design of facilities and processes
  • Provide manufacturing technical support for production operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Experience working in a low-volume/high-variation manufacturing operation
  • Skilled in CAD systems (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint
