As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for building pallets for loading and delivery, using order sheets distributed by the supervisor to gather product, build pallets per diagrams, and deliver pallets via forklift to the loading dock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pallet Building: Sort and arrange product on pallets (picking) to ensure efficient and accurate loading.
  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift to transport pallets throughout the warehouse and to the loading dock.
  • Product Storage and Loading: Store product or load trucks with pallets of product, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Order Management: Obtain daily order sheets from the supervisor and follow diagrams to load trucks.
  • Pallet Delivery: Use a forklift to drive pallets to the loading dock for delivery.
  • Pallet Preparation: Shrink wrap pallets for delivery to ensure secure and damage-free transport.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School/General Education Diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the beverage industry.
  • Certifications: Valid forklift driver's permit.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work a flexible schedule, and ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds or more.
  • Background Check: Favorable background and drug exam required.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level. The successful candidate will be able to work in a warehouse environment and be exposed to various conditions, including manufacturing and warehouse plants.
