Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Nurse Specialist

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is a leading provider of treatment and recovery services for individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual developmental disabilities.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team in the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health department. As a Nurse at Highland Rivers, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our clients, including health assessments, medication administration, education, and crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities- Nursing Assessments: Conduct thorough health assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by medical providers and monitor client response.
- Health Education: Provide education to clients, staff, and family members on healthy behaviors, disease management, and wellness strategies.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to acute crisis situations, stabilize clients, and collaborate with treatment teams to ensure effective interventions.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Georgia and have experience working with individuals with addictive diseases and/or mental health challenges. A background check, TB test, and drug screen will also be required.
Estimated Salary Range$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
