Key Responsibilities:
The Logistics and Procurement Coordinator will oversee supply chain operations, focusing on the planning and acquisition of materials and products to fulfill organizational goals and client needs. This role requires collaboration within a team-oriented setting and support across various departments as necessary.
Core Duties Include:
- Analyzing and optimizing MRP systems to generate purchase orders and ensure follow-up.
- Assessing production requirements to commit to new sales orders and delivery timelines.
- Facilitating effective communication with all levels of internal management and personnel.
- Managing data processing, maintenance, and analysis.
- Developing, implementing, and upholding SHE objectives for the facility.
- Communicating critical information and feedback to vendors and customer service teams.
- Creating reports and informational packages as needed.
- Monitoring and updating material master data, open purchase orders, and stock transfer orders in SAP.
- Assisting colleagues with overflow tasks as required.
- Maintaining comprehensive records, generating reports, and preparing presentations.
- Overseeing inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations.
- Ensuring a smooth flow of purchased inventory.
- Exhibiting exceptional attention to detail.
- Thriving in high-pressure environments.
- Collaborating with diverse teams to identify challenges and devise solutions.
- Engaging in various supply chain functions as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Preferred experience in Production Planning, Purchasing, and SAP.
- Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
- Aptitude for working in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation capabilities.
- Desire for a stimulating and intellectually engaging work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel and formula creation.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
