We are seeking an experienced Investment Associate to join our team at J Harlan Group, LLC. As a key member of our investment management firm, you will play a critical role in evaluating and executing investments across various asset classes and capital structures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial models and cash flow analyses for real asset portfolios
- Manage the structured finance and credit process for our investment team, including negotiating and executing financing transactions
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative business, financial, and due diligence in conjunction with the deal team and third-party advisors
- Prepare internal materials, including investment memorandums and transaction analysis for presentation to the investment committee
- Monitor and support asset portfolios and outstanding financings
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, investment firms, or funds
- Structured finance, leveraged finance, aviation, transportation, and/or alternative asset experience a plus
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills required
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to manage a process from start to finish with true ownership in areas that might be new to both the individual and even the firm

CompensationThe salary range is $80,000 - $140,000 plus employees may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable laws.
