About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all retail and wholesale bakery production, ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency in our baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of bakery production, including inventory management and ordering.
  • Collaborate with our chef team to develop and implement seasonal and special menu items that align with our company's concepts.
  • Assist in the management of wholesale accounts, catering, and special orders.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, motivating and inspiring our team to achieve excellence.
  • Develop and implement effective scheduling and labor management strategies to meet financial projections and goals.
Requirements
  • Four years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or catering.
  • At least three years of previous high-level experience in a well-established restaurant.
  • Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience considered.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • This is an evening/night position, requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position require the ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
