Job Summary

Gunstock Mountain Resort is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ski Patrol Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our safety services team, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the on-mountain safety of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and assistance to injured or ill guests and employees, including patient evaluation, triage, and first aid.
  • Safely transport injured guests and employees from the mountain to our First Aid Base.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of lift evacuation plans and snowmobile operations.
  • Identify and mark potential skiing and riding hazards, set up and remove fencing, rope lines, and signage as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care Technician (OEC) certification with current CPR (BLS) certification, or a current National Registry EMT-Basic certification with a current CPR (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at an advanced to expert level, up to 6 hours per day, on all terrain in variable weather conditions.
  • Frequent movement about the mountain and resort to access injured guests and employees, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
