**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian/Nutritionist to join our team at Medi-Weightloss of Mechanicsville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through evidence-based practices.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide individualized nutrition counseling to patients, considering their medical and psychosocial history.
  • Develop and implement customized nutrition plans to support weight loss and overall health.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluate patient progress.
  • Assist with dietary adjustments based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and nutrition plans in the EMR.
  • Educate patients about the role of nutrition in weight management and disease prevention.
  • Perform phlebotomy and EKG as part of patient assessments.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and address concerns.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential (Required).
  • Experience in phlebotomy and EKG (Required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Passion for health and wellness and personally living a healthy lifestyle.

**Salary and Benefits:**

We offer a competitive salary of $30-$35 per hour, 22 hours per week, and a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts.
