Role Overview:
The Lead Financial Risk Analyst in Technology Lending is tasked with analyzing, overseeing, and maintaining comprehensive financial data on existing and potential technology clients. This role supports the underwriting process for Relationship Managers by managing financial assessments, conducting thorough analyses, and keeping accurate records. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for generating various reports for the credit department as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized financial statement evaluations related to technology partnerships.
- Provide support to lending officers on credit issues and loans that involve unique circumstances or require detailed examination.
- Gather data to perform portfolio concentration assessments.
- Assist the Special Assets Department in data compilation.
- Carry out industry evaluations and offer strategic recommendations.
- Notify Credit Officers/Loan Officers of significant trends affecting specific loans, portfolios, or sectors.
- Deliver credit information and references for clients, loan officers, or other entities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year institution is required, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience for the Lead Financial Risk Analyst position.
- Proficient in analyzing financial statements and tax returns, with the ability to perform cash flow forecasting.
- Strong Excel capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
The hourly compensation for new hires typically starts at $48.10 for the San Francisco area. Salary is determined based on the specific job location. Additionally, the position may qualify for annual bonuses or incentives.
