Banquet Houseperson Job Description

Cultivate unforgettable moments as our Banquet Houseperson, where your meticulous attention to detail transforms event spaces into captivating environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare function rooms for events.
  • Set equipment according to daily work sheets.
  • Provide amenities as per resort standards.
  • Refresh meeting rooms during meal and coffee breaks.
  • Break down meeting rooms efficiently after events.
  • Complete special projects as directed by management.
  • Move conference materials, programs, and banners as needed.
  • Care for equipment and accommodate special customer needs.
  • Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and install/remove air walls if applicable.
  • Break down service areas and perform other reasonable requests.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Ability to adhere to timelines and work a flexible schedule.
  • Prior customer service training is a plus.
  • Team-oriented environment and ability to move/maneuver in a banquet setting.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with ease and perform physical movements for extended periods.
