This role is a full-time, hourly opportunity that emphasizes the health and well-being of elderly clients. As a vital team member, the Home Care Aide will significantly contribute to enabling clients to sustain their autonomy and enhance their quality of life.

The perfect candidate will possess a genuine enthusiasm for aiding others and have prior experience in caregiving. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS MANDATORY.

Compensation Details:
The pay range for this position is between $18-$22 per hour, with the highest rates offered for weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care and support to clients, including help with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation requirements, such as accompanying clients to medical appointments or running errands.
  • Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients, which includes light housekeeping tasks.
  • Prepare meals in accordance with dietary guidelines.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Document and communicate any changes in the client's health or behavior to the appropriate parties.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in caregiving is preferred.
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is advantageous.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
