Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aqua Instructor to join our team at Life Time. As an Aqua Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging and challenging water-based fitness classes that promote physical activity and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead water-based fitness classes that cater to diverse age groups and fitness levels.
  • Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to ensure participants' safety and proper technique.
  • Encourage participants to set and achieve their fitness goals, promoting a positive and supportive class environment.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop and implement new class formats and programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio space, adhering to Life Time's safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., exercise science, physical education) preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Aqua Instructor or in a related fitness role.
  • CPR/AED certification and current group exercise certification (e.g., AEA, ACE) required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform exercises specific to the assigned class.
