Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at one of our facilities located in Newtown, Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn additional income based on experience and qualifications. Job Responsibilities

As an SLP with our team, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in clients of all ages. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders in clients of all ages.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Providing direct therapy to clients with a range of speech and language needs.
  • Managing a caseload of up to 35 clients, primarily working with children in the K-12 age range.
Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred; candidates currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also invited to apply.
  • Proven experience in providing speech and language therapy, with a strong background in working with diverse populations.
