Aircraft Mechanic

Abilene Aero is seeking a highly skilled Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team at our maintenance facility located at Abilene Regional Airport. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general and commercial aviation aircraft.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve issues
• Work with a team of experienced A&P Mechanics to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities

• Airframe and Powerplant License
• Must have own tools
• Computer skills required
• Preferred Experience: IA strongly desired but not required, 3-5 years general aviation, PT6 experience, Cessna Caravan experience, King Air experience, Familiarity with FARs, aircraft inspection and repair requirements

• Full-time hours, with some overtime, including occasional weekends
