Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of education?

New Story School is currently seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to enhance our clinical team. This role is pivotal in delivering therapeutic skills acquisition and behavior modification strategies. The selected candidate will be instrumental in crafting individualized behavior plans, tracking student progress, and providing behavioral consultation as outlined in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This is a full-time position within a school environment, free from billable hour requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate initial and ongoing behavioral strengths and needs of students in accordance with school assessment protocols.
  • Employ non-violent crisis intervention techniques and provide physical assistance when necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and other relevant gatherings.
  • Deliver and oversee services as detailed in the student's IEP.
  • Formulate behavior goals for the IEP and Positive Behavior Support Plan.
  • Adjust and supervise the execution of student behavior plans as required.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments for students when needed.
  • Create a data collection system for staff to support interventions and modifications.
  • Design and implement individualized behavior plans that cater to the unique needs of each student and the dynamics of the educational setting.
  • Analyze FBA and data sheets to develop tailored behavior intervention plans based on data and input from involved parties.
  • Gather and graph behavior data recorded by school personnel for evaluation of Positive Behavior Support Plan effectiveness.
