New Story School is on the lookout for a dedicated Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to enhance our clinical team. This role is pivotal in executing therapeutic skills acquisition and behavior modification strategies tailored to our students' needs. As a full-time position, it offers a unique opportunity to work in a school environment without the pressure of billable hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify the behavioral strengths and challenges of students in accordance with established school protocols.
  • Implement non-violent crisis intervention techniques and provide necessary physical assistance.
  • Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deliver and oversee services outlined in each student's IEP.
  • Formulate behavior goals for IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans.
  • Revise and supervise the execution of behavior plans as required.
  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments when necessary.
  • Create a data collection system to support intervention strategies.
  • Design and execute individualized behavior plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Analyze data from FBAs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive input.
  • Collect and analyze behavior data to evaluate the effectiveness of Positive Behavior Support Plans.
