Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the oversight, maintenance, repair, and replacement of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment.
To excel in this role, you must effectively perform each essential duty, which includes:
1. Analyzing, inspecting, troubleshooting, installing, rebuilding, adjusting, replacing, and ensuring the safety of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment.
2. Working with a variety of equipment, including but not limited to: walk-in coolers, steamers, convection ovens, dishwashers, booster heaters, warmers, exhaust hoods, serving lines, ice machines, bearings, motors, heat exchangers, boilers, air conditioning compressors, exhaust systems, and chillers.
3. Commissioning new kitchens and overseeing equipment installations.
4. Performing both major and minor repairs, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance on commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment.
5. Repairing and maintaining all low voltage, equipment voltage, and control voltages.
6. Coordinating and prioritizing repair tasks to ensure timely responses and minimize downtime.
