We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our team at the University of Miami Health System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis of medical problems.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Review and evaluate developed x-rays, video tape, and computer-generated information to ensure images meet diagnostic standards.
- Record and maintain accurate patient medical histories and treatment records.
- Position and immobilize patients on examining tables, ensuring their safety and comfort during scans.
- Arrange imaging equipment and adjust controls to optimize exposure time and distance.
- Prepare and maintain patient data and treatment records, and prepare reports as needed.
- Organize examination rooms, ensuring necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and minor emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
- Associate degree in a relevant field.
- Certification in a relevant specialty or field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
