Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Staff, Platform Architect, you will engage in the creation of cutting-edge large-scale AI infrastructure, encompassing accelerated computing, AI fabrics, and optimized storage solutions. You will collaborate with prominent AI clients to enhance their application solutions and fine-tune systems for peak performance. Additionally, you will drive innovation at the data center level, focusing on liquid cooling technologies and power density enhancements. Your role will involve developing long-term technology strategies informed by comprehensive technical and business insights, integrating knowledge from industry trends, marketing, development, manufacturing, procurement, and customer feedback.
Your Contributions Will Include:
- Leading and participating in strategic internal and industry discussions, serving as a key resource for critical development challenges.
- Shaping future product directions and providing expert guidance across multiple technologies and products.
- Generating intellectual property, including invention disclosures.
- Managing ownership of various complex technologies.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 15 years of industry experience or equivalent expertise, particularly in AI computing and storage platforms, along with accelerator ecosystems from both hardware and software perspectives.
- A robust understanding of AI computing design, network architecture, and storage solutions, with the capability to develop automation scripts for validation, configuration, and benchmarking.
- The ability to cultivate technical relationships with vendors for core technologies or solutions, ensuring alignment with next-generation vendor designs and maintaining a comprehensive database of multi-year vendor/partner roadmaps.
- Experience in identifying and communicating differentiation opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to marketing, procurement, engineering, and executive teams.
- The capacity to understand competitive and business needs while developing tailored technical solutions, with a willingness to travel as necessary to assess customer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees or relevant technical certifications.
