About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager/Owner's Representative - Project Executive to lead and oversee high-profile projects from conception to completion.

This key role has direct responsibility for business and client outcomes, maintaining primary responsibility for the performance of all contracts under assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain business development, performance, and profit and loss across assigned contracts.
  • Participate in strategy discussions and represent the firm to inside and outside constituents.
  • Lead client representative responsible for ensuring team members meet commitments to clients.
  • Take an active role in staffing decisions and implement team direction.
  • Represent the firm with current and prospective clients, promoting the firm at industry events.
  • Respond immediately to client concerns regarding Vertex service and ensure staff urgency.
  • Contribute to business development operations, including prospecting, proposal development, and interviews.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, architecture, construction management, or construction project management is required.

Minimum 10 years in construction management/owner's representation, with at least 5 years in a senior role.

Owner's Representative / Construction Manager experience and leadership of FL public vertical construction projects is preferred.

Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in delivering large complex projects with significant experience in design and construction phases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of project and construction budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations.
  • Understanding of Florida public construction laws and requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management and construction software.

An estimated annual salary of $95,000-$125,000 based on qualifications and experience.
