The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a seasonal Culinary Specialist to contribute to our operations at Wuksachi Lodge within Sequoia National Park, California. Responsibilities
  • Execute food production tasks as directed by supervisors, ensuring adherence to recipe guidelines and sanitation standards.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization of workstations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and management.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read and comprehend recipes and food terminology.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to follow established procedures and directions.
  • Basic mathematical skills for recipe measurements.
  • No prior experience or formal education required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, including bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Capacity to move quickly and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures in the kitchen environment.
Shift Details

Available shifts include day, evening, split shifts, and overtime as required.
