Job Title: Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Granville Small Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
  • Obtain laboratory samples, process, and interpret results as directed by the doctor
  • Administer vaccines and medications
  • Prep and anesthetize surgical patients and perform dental cleanings
  • Radiographs
  • Effectively communicate and educate clients
  • Use of computerized medical records and invoicing
Qualifications:
  • State of NY Veterinary Technician License required
  • Motivated to maintain standards and high quality of patient care, and excellent client services
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, will consider Licensed new grads
  • Experience with AVImark veterinary software a plus, but will provide training as needed
