Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Support Specialist to join our team at Clatsop Care Health & Rehabilitation Center.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that involves assisting the cook and other dietary staff in meal preparation, serving, and cleanup. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety while performing their duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food preparation and serving activities
  • Participate in tray service by pre-setting, preparing, and picking up meals according to established procedures
  • Assist with dish handling, including delivering dirty dishes, unloading, washing, and storing clean dishes
  • Perform daily and scheduled cleaning duties
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the ability to learn and follow directions accurately. You should be willing and capable of learning new methods and working as part of a team to achieve our goals.

Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include regularly standing or walking, occasionally climbing or balancing, and frequently lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust or focus.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
