We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Medical City Lewisville. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of echo/vascular testing, including 2-D echocardiograms, Doppler echos, carotid and venous duplex imaging exams, and other vascular procedures to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic exams using sophisticated instruments and equipment
- Provide optimum patient care while working independently and utilizing good judgment and decision-making skills
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvements of processes and services
- Work closely with the director to ensure equipment is operational and maintain all PMs of all CV/Echo equipment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Certificate in Registered Vascular Specialist, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or related field within 60 months of employment start date
Medical City Lewisville is a full-service 190+ bed medical and surgical facility offering a broad spectrum of care to the communities of southern Denton County. We have emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Flower Mound. Our patient tower has two floors dedicated to women's services, including a specialty obstetrics referral center for high-risk OB services and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
