About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Highway Engineer to join our Transportation team in Tampa or Orlando. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of civil, highway, and roadway projects, as well as providing guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design teams on FDOT and municipal projects, including civil, highway, and roadway geometric design, roadway plan production, and drainage design.
  • Collaborate with management to determine long-range plans and goals, including recommendations on project staffing.
  • Participate in the preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E).
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in large transportation and infrastructure projects.
  • Professional Engineering License in FL or ability to obtain in six months.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on Alternative Delivery projects.
