Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and their families through direct and/or telephone contact, adhering to established standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximize coordination of efforts, and promote active patient participation in planning and care.
  • Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures and participate in patient education.
  • Provide guidance and direction to clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
  • New York State (NYS) license with current NYS registration, in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • 1+ years of experience as a licensed practical nurse or 2+ years as a Medical Assistant in a pertinent practice area.
  • Experience in Pediatrics.
