Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, integration, and management of core CTSI informatics systems.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) along with 4-6 years of experience in the field or a related area is required.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in Linux, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with database maintenance (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB).
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or systems administration in a heterogeneous environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Splunk, and Playwright.
  • Knowledge of containerization and deployment techniques (Docker, Apptainer, Podman, Nomad, Kubernetes).
  • Some experience with application integration using middleware and REST API.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Windows Server, including configuration and administration.
  • Awareness of current industry trends and the ability to articulate them clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with all management levels.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time efficiently.
  • Experience in software development, infrastructure development, or DevOps.
  • Ability to document and design various processes and update existing ones.
  • Familiarity with general-purpose programming languages and technologies (e.g., Go, Python, Typescript).

Special Instructions

This position is hybrid, requiring the selected candidate to either reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified area. The role may necessitate working outside of standard hours.
