Job Title: Merchandise Planner

At Emerging Blue, we are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planner to join our team. As a key member of our retail planning team, you will be responsible for creating and managing annual and seasonal merchandise plans that drive sales and inventory forecast accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage merchandise plans utilizing historical data, sales trends, and market influences to ensure accurate sales and inventory forecast.
  • Consistently monitor sales performance and identify opportunities and risks to communicate to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Merchants to ensure product assortments support sales targets by country.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure key item sales and inventory forecast are in alignment with departmental sales and inventory objectives.
  • Lead the OTB process for your merchandising team, adjusting forecast, receipt targets, and margin as needed to achieve financial goals.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of related professional experience in merchandise planning.
  • Proven experience in Omni, Multiple Retail Concept environments.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret retail reports.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Merchandise planning system experience preferred.
