ABOUT FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Food & Beverage team guarantees a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring that products are fresh, available, and accurately priced on the sales floor. This team excels in operations, processes, and efficiency, overseeing food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signage across all Food and Beverage sections of the store.

As a Starbucks Barista, you will gain:

  • Understanding of guest service principles and experience in fostering a guest-first culture in Starbucks.
  • Ability to deliver a consistent Starbucks experience by crafting quality beverages and food items.
  • Experience in managing food quality and freshness.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines.
Typical Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing an outstanding guest experience by connecting with guests and delivering high-quality beverages and food throughout operational hours, prioritizing guest needs.
  • Maintaining the execution of Food and Beverage Standards, adhering to all Starbucks brand and food safety standards.
  • Executing food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, cleaning, and inventory management.
  • Staying informed about all promotional activities within Starbucks.
  • Creating a welcoming dining area for guests at all times.
  • Engaging with guests to meet and exceed their expectations according to Starbucks standards.
  • Completing all required training for Starbucks.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Supporting guest services such as order pick-up and maintaining compliance while executing those duties.
  • Performing additional duties as needed based on business requirements.
