AEG Worldwide Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our venues, employees, and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Event Safety and Security: Monitor assigned areas of the venue, observe and report any unusual occurrences, and control the diffusion of incidents during events.
- Access Control: Ensure all guests and employees have proper access to designated areas, and screen and confirm all individuals entering the venue.
- Customer Service: Assist with customer service needs, including directions, instructions, information, escorts, and medical assistance.
- Emergency Response: Respond to fire alarms, medical situations, and other emergencies, and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Log all activity, movement, and repairs in the appropriate log, and ensure all incidents are accurately documented.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1-2 years of related work experience
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; expert organizational, leadership, and time management skills; ability to qualify and be issued a security officer license; CPR and AED certification
- Knowledge: Knowledge of rules and regulations, with a good understanding of right and wrong; ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, often standing for long periods of time. The ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations is essential.
