Job Summary:

As a Medical Office Assistant - Oncology, you will work under the direct supervision of a physician to provide clinical and clerical support in the examination and treatment of patients. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and registering patient appointments, verifying insurance, and performing check-in and check-out functions. You will also be responsible for entering pertinent information into patient charts.

Requirements:
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college) with a focus on a specialized field.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • American Heart Association CPR certification.
