Job Title: Deco/Printer Mechanic

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Deco/Printer Mechanic to join our team in Nichols, NY. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed automated equipment, ensuring the highest quality products are produced.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain high-speed automated equipment, including printers and labelers.
  • Train and assist other operators to ensure smooth production.
  • Verify proper setup of printer equipment and perform quality control checks.
  • Perform preventative maintenance assignments and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Audit printer applications to ensure SOP specifications are met.
  • Analyze spoilage and take corrective actions where applicable.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong proven working experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment re-build expertise.
  • Experience in using controls and settings on high-speed automated equipment.
  • High competency in the use of micrometers, calipers, and related equipment.
  • Strong math and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and parts specifications.
