Job Title: Security Officer

About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Endless Horizons. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security, exercising judgment and discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce all laws, rules, and policies within your scope of authority to ensure the safety, health, and security of students, staff, and property.
  • Assist in conducting evaluation drills, fire drills, active shooter drills, etc., as required by the PRH.
  • Secure premises and personnel by monitoring entrance per standard procedures, patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and monitoring property access points.
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, redirecting trespassers.
  • Complete reports as indicated when conducting investigations, recording observations, and/or conducting surveillance activities.
  • Participate in preparation and enforcement of Center's safety and fire prevention program, conduct foot patrols in all assigned areas, perform building security checks, and remain alert for disturbances, fires, safety hazards, traffic violators, suspicious acts and/or persons, and other unusual conditions.
  • Participate in staff training, model, mentor, monitor appropriate Career Success Standards, prioritize employability and professionalism in all student interactions.
  • Assist in maintaining student security and accountability during training, day and evening, by continuously walking through those areas where students are being trained, having lunch, participating in dorm activities, recreational activities, and monitors grounds over entire Center.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management within the employee's capabilities.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
