CLIENT PARTNER PROFILE: Leapros has partnered with a prominent distributor in the housewares and kitchenware sector to recruit for an accounts receivable role, emphasizing the investigation of invoice discrepancies.

POSITION TITLE: Receivables Management Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: This role involves overseeing a substantial volume of receivables with a focus on credit and collections within a team of over 10 professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee high-volume receivables through prompt cash application, management of deductions, and collections.
  • Identify abnormal payment behaviors, increased deductions, and cash flow challenges, escalating these matters to management with actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients to resolve disputes or discrepancies.
  • Investigate and process deductions that exceed tolerance levels while adhering to departmental guidelines and customer dispute timelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Warehouse, Freight Carriers, and Clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in collections/accounts receivable, ideally in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with Netsuite ERP or similar large-scale software is preferred.
  • Previous experience with big box warehousing or large retail companies is advantageous, along with a fundamental understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the capability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

COMPENSATION: The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $24-26/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications and other relevant factors.
