Hospice and Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospice and Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MultiCare Health System.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with patients and families in need of end-of-life care. As a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on pain and symptom management, and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Document patient care and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced practice nursing experience in hospice and palliative care
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of pain and symptom management principles
  • Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
