Job Title: Clinical Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Social Worker to join our team in the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing clinical social work services to individuals with behavioral health needs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, and advocating for clients to meet their identified needs. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address client needs and goals
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
  • Advocate for clients to access necessary resources and services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Document client progress and treatment plans in clinical records
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a clinical social worker in the State of Connecticut
  • Experience providing licensed clinical outpatient treatment in the community for adults with severe and prolonged mental illness, addiction, and co-morbid medical conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
