Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to deliver exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will conduct evaluations, assess patient needs, and create tailored therapy and treatment strategies aimed at enhancing speech capabilities. A thorough understanding of speech-related disorders and therapeutic interventions is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Developing personalized treatment and therapy plans for a varied patient population.
  • Conducting screenings to identify speech or voice disorders.
  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding speech disorders, including causes and implications.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records related to patient assessments, care plans, therapies, and progress.
  • Communicating patient progress and current status to relevant stakeholders, including family members and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech Pathology License/Certification in the state of practice.
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology is mandatory.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Hours is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of speech-related conditions, treatments, and rehabilitation tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer usage, particularly in healthcare and patient management systems.
  • Attentive and compassionate, with the ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
