About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop tailored education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs.

  • Provide counseling and intervention services to help students manage emotions, behaviors, and academics.
  • Engage in team meetings and consultations to stay updated on best practices and share knowledge.
Requirements
  • A graduate degree (master's, specialist, or doctoral) in school psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Certification/Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) School Psychologist license.
  • Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check is required as part of the certification process.
