RN L&D FT Nights Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Abrazo West Campus. As a RN L&D FT Nights, you will provide professional nursing care to patients and their families, coordinating care planning with other disciplines and acting as a supervisor to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provides individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
- Coordinates care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Acts as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
- Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
- Participates in hourly rounding and observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervises other members of the healthcare team.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
- Preferred experience in acute care, certification in specialty area of practice, and BSN degree.
