About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHSSQ Specialist to join our team at Evonik Industries. As a key member of our EHSSQ team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mobile site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHSSQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with the EHSSQ continuous improvement team to develop and implement long-term improvements to EHSSQ processes and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on EHSSQ procedures and protocols.
  • Manage contractor safety programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to ensure site readiness in the event of an emergency.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of comprehensive chemical process experience and emergency response and/or construction safety experience in the chemical industry.
  • Possession of a B.S. in a safety-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of company, plant, and governmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
