Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers, including counseling on medication usage and potential interactions.
  • Ensure the proper compounding and dispensation of medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy, assisting the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize financials, inventory management, and customer experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, anticipating their needs and proactively offering services to enhance their experience.
  • Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
  • Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards.
Requirements
  • Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
  • Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
