The Role:

Dryer Vent Wizard is the sole international franchise dedicated exclusively to dryer vent cleaning, repair, installation, maintenance, and safety. We are on the lookout for dependable, customer-oriented technicians who possess attention to detail and a friendly demeanor. As a technician at Dryer Vent Wizard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customers' dryer vent systems comply with safety standards, enhancing their efficiency and safety. You will foster customer relationships and maintain our commitment to exceptional service. Strong communication skills are essential for conveying information to both supervisors and customers in a professional manner. You should be self-driven, thrive in a dynamic environment, and be capable of managing your time effectively to meet deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company’s image at all times.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment upon arrival at the customer’s residence.
  • Professionally service the customer’s dryer vent system based on inspection findings.
  • Propose additional relevant products/services based on the inspection results.
  • Clearly explain the features and benefits of products/services as requested or recommended.
  • Be available to address any inquiries and provide comprehensive responses.
  • Detail the costs, benefits, proper procedures, and warranties of new systems to customers.
  • Provide accurate and legible assessments and invoices when necessary.
  • Respond to customer service inquiries.
  • Perform quality assurance tests on new installations.
  • Travel around the area to promote services to customers.
  • Ensure the company vehicle and equipment are well-maintained, clean, and in optimal condition.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to adhere to required business hours.
  • Strong communication skills with customers, management, and team members.
  • Experience in light construction, carpentry, or handyman work is beneficial, but training is available.
  • Familiarity with tools is advantageous, but training will be provided.
  • Capability to climb and handle ladders up to 32 feet high.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces such as attics, crawlspaces, or closets.
  • Willingness to work on rooftops.
  • Ability to process payments using a tablet.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
