**Job Title:** Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist
**Estimated Salary:** $50 per hour
**Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist to join our maintenance team at Performance Foodservice. As a Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on company heavy equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on company heavy equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Work closely with our drivers and warehouse staff to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition, and perform regular inspections to identify potential issues.
- Assist in performing major repair work, including disassembling, repairing or replacing defective parts, and reassembling equipment.
**Requirements:**
- 6-12 months of experience in truck/automotive maintenance, with advanced skills knowledge equivalent to 6-12 months training in truck/automotive maintenance.
- Familiarity with a wide variety of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, various types of meters, and diagnostic equipment.
