Insurance is a complex and rapidly evolving industry, and Vouch Insurance is at the forefront of innovation. As a Strategic Finance Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting financial and strategic planning, driving business growth and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, improve, and maintain financial models, including go-to-market premium and operating capacity models.
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting premium and operating expenses.
  • Provide budget vs. actual variance analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with business partners to create and set targets for business KPIs, including the design of new reports and dashboards to provide insightful information to leadership.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for financial reporting and analysis leveraging our financial planning software.
  • Work with the analytics team to create new automated dashboards.
  • Analyze key business metrics and provide insights to business partners.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for critical business decisions.
  • Present key results and recommendations to business partners and leadership.

About You:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate and understand large ambiguous data sets for analysis and modeling.
  • Effective communication skills, influence, and collaboration with cross-functional business partners.
  • Proactive self-starter who is always looking for ways to improve a process.
  • Prior experience supporting an annual budgeting cycle.
  • Experience with financial planning tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of keyboard shortcuts that make you incredibly efficient.
