About the Role

The Quality Improvement Facilitator plays a pivotal role in driving significant organizational change initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical quality, patient safety, and patient experience. This position requires a skilled leader who can effectively facilitate the development and implementation of quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management priorities and goals across various clinical departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and patient experience.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans to address identified areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with risk management and other clinical departments to ensure effective implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinical departments on quality improvement and resource management.
  • Facilitate teams or projects associated with accreditation, medical staff, licensure, regulations, clinical initiatives, or patient safety strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or quality improvement role.
  • Certification in healthcare quality, risk management, or patient safety is preferred, with a plan to obtain at least one of these certifications within 2 years of hire.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to understand and apply analytical tools to make process improvement recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to learn other software as needed.
  • Good project management and team dynamic skills to facilitate change and achieve defined outcomes.
