Exciting Opportunity in Urban Planning

At J-U-B Engineers, we strive to create better communities by fostering a teamwork environment and solving problems that improve society. We are currently seeking an intern to work in our Kaysville or Salt Lake, UT offices on a summer internship position with potential for growth as you gain knowledge through professional experience and individualized training.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting municipal and institutional level projects including parks, trails, streetscapes, and campuses.
  • Producing conceptual plans, layout and dimension plans, construction detailing, planting plans, irrigation plans, and presentation graphics.
  • Computer 3D modeling design and rendering using SketchUp, Rhino, and Lumion.
  • Standard construction detail drafting and organization.
Requirements
  • Progress toward finishing or already possess BLA degree from an accredited program in Landscape Architecture.
  • Design process exposure from concept through construction documentation.
  • Exposure to and some proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products and communication skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $23.50 per hour based on the company's average salary range for interns in the United States.
