Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adult Education Instructor to join our team at Northeast Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing adult education and career pathways instruction to adult learners at our Extended Campus in West Point.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pre-and post-assessment plans to ensure student success
  • Conduct student intake and maintain accurate records of student hours
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State Adult Education regulations
  • Teach Adult Basic Skills and GED preparation classes, as well as English as a Second Language classes
  • Work flexible hours, including daytime and evening shifts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Adult teaching experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse learners
  • Knowledge of computers and ability to learn and operate computer-based learning programs
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $21.00 per hour, with no fringe benefits. This is a grant-funded position contingent on future funding.
