Job Summary

Courier is a vital role within CAMC Health System, responsible for delivering critical items to hospital departments and affiliates. This position requires a high level of customer service and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver items to hospital departments and affiliates in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Work Environment
  • Heavy Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs with a maximum lifting of 100 lbs.
  • Varying work schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
